Unfailing Love

"But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear Him,
on those whose hope is in His unfailing love."
Psalms 33:18
I want to start off by pointing out that the word fear in this verse isn't talking about being physically afraid of what harm GOD will do to us. This fear is a holy fear, it is in awe and reverence that we look to Him for our hope is in His unfailing love. The LORD turns His eyes to us and sees the cries of our hearts, He knows where our trust and hope lie.
If you were to read this chapter you'd see that David is writing about a battle and he states that you can't put your trust in a sword or your horse. Today it would be more along the lines of, I can't put my trust in my 9mm or my tank. And, this is true. We can put our trust, our hope, in only one infallible thing, GOD'S unfailing love.
Putting our trust and our hope in GOD isn't always as easy as it seems. Sometimes the hardest thing for us to do is realize that we can't do everything in our own strength
. Every now and then we have to give it up to Him and trust that it will all work out for the best. And, it will if our hope is in the LORD because GOD desires to meet our needs and fill our hearts with His unfailing love.
The truth has been shown to you through the Son, what are you going to get up and do about it?
"All who call upon the Name of the LORD will be saved."
