"Show us Your unfailing love, O LORD,
and grant us Your salvation."
Psalms 85:7

Here in this verse we see once again that the children of the LORD are coming back to Him.  They are calling out for His unfailing love to restore them to what they once were, when they were following the path of righteousness.  GOD is faithful to His children when they call out to Him.

Have you ever fallen short?  It doesn't matter if it's with your parents, or with your friends at school.  Even when you've gone to them and fallen on your sword you still feel somehow that they still don't want to trust you the same, or rely on you the way they used to. On the other hand, GOD'S motto is to forgive and forget, unlike our pals or even our folks, when He says He forgives us, He does. Then He takes it one step farther and forgets about it.

When you mess up with your friends and family they may tend to hold things against you for a while.  GOD is nothing like our pals, we ask for forgiveness and restoration and in His unfailing love He is faithful to forgive us and lift us back up and restore us.
