Here are The Four Fundamental Principles of the Followers of JESUS -   Daily read and meditate on the Word of GOD, The Holy Bible. Daily praise and worship the LORD. Daily and continuous prayer to the LORD. Regular fellowship/gathering with other Followers of JESUS. Note:  The use of 'Daily' in our study is always to be understood as:  occurring, or acted upon every day. JESUS CHRIST is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8 We will begin by examining the first of Fundamental Principles of the Followers of JESUS-       1.    Daily read and meditate on the Word of GOD, The Holy Bible. There is no great mystery in the term 'daily'.  Daily means just that, seven days a week, everyday of the month, 365 days a year. Daily is not a punishment or a heavy weight you must bear when you do not want to or care to.  Reading GOD'S Word is a great 'JOY'.   Sinners turn to books written by physiologists or read daily horoscopes especially prepared for them so they might know what to do or expect in life.  The Followers of JESUS get all they need to live good, godly and productive lives from reading the Scriptures. Meditating on the Word of GOD is not sitting with your legs tucked under yourself, humming and emptying your mind from all external thoughts.  Just the opposite!  Biblical meditation is reading a Scripture or Scriptures and then thinking, dwelling and memorizing the same.  In a very short time the Word of GOD becomes settled deep within your heart and will stay there the rest of your life.  Every time you need help or assistance, the Word will be available for you. Read and meditate on the Word of GOD each and every day and you will be blessed in ways you could never imagine.  Once you have begun to receive the benefit of hiding GOD'S Word in your heart, you will encourage every Christian you know to do to same.  Our next Page will look at Principle Number 2.
